Steering Group
The Steering Group of Tralee Chamber Alliance each represent sectors of business, community and public organisations of the town. They co-ordinate with Colette O’Connor, Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber.
Their role is to identify and direct the policy and agenda of the Chamber based on listening to, understanding and representing the Chamber’s members, stakeholders and the Tralee business community in general.
Below are the individual steering groups that represent different sectors along with their members and objectives.

Tourism and Hospitality
Members:

Objective
Promote Tralee as a destination to visit and dealing with projects relating to tourism and marketing. E.g Tralee Fenit Greenway.
Daytime Economy/Retail
Members:
Sandra Rusk – Weardrobe
Derek Rusk – Manor West Retail Park
Brendan Culloty – Hugh Colloty’s
Objective
Promote Tralee as THE retail location of the Southwest.
Night Time Economony/ Bars & Restaurants
Members:

Aidan Turner – Turners Bar
Alan O’Sullivan – O’Sullivans
Objective
Promote Tralee as a safe destination through initiatives such as the Purple Flag, See Something Say Something and promoting and supporting festivals taking place in Tralee.

Objective
Promote environmental projects, sustainability and community engagement to improve overall appearance of Tralee area and support organisations such as Tralee Tidy Towns.

Promote job creation through lobbying for greater investment into the area and promotion of Tralee as an an ideal destination for research.
