Tralee Chamber Alliance has a proven track record of success in lobbying and representation, resulting in favourable changes for the region and its businesses.

Being a member of Tralee Chamber gives companies the opportunity to participate in discussions that may have an impact on their operations through forums and consultations, as well as to influence policymakers through lobbying and advocacy support.

Tralee Chamber does not directly participate in the creation or adoption of legislation and regulations that have an impact on businesses because it is a non-governmental organisation. However, it does lobby in an effort to pass laws that are beneficial to business and society.

Tralee Chamber is the only chamber in Kerry that represents businesses at the county, national, and European levels. We collaborate with local representatives to create pro-business policies and employment initiatives, as well as with government ministers, MEPs, the mayor, and Kerry County Council.

Tralee Chamber does not shout needlessly in the media or lobby from the side-lines. Instead, we work to strengthen our reputation and connections with decision-makers in order to win their support for the requirements of Tralee enterprises.

By encouraging a supportive climate for business, we make sure that decision-makers recognise the significant contribution that all businesses, large and small, make to society and the need to sustain it.

Tralee Chamber is represented on the following bodies:

  • Kerry Community Response Forum
  • Kerry Tourism Industry Federation Board of Directors
  • Kerry Economic Stakeholders Forum
  • Kerry Chambers Network
  • Shannon Estuary Taskforce Tourism Sub Group
  • Chambers Ireland Town Centres First Group
