Tralee Set to Shine with Spectacular New Year’s Eve Street Party
Tralee is the place to be this New Year’s Eve, as the town prepares for an unforgettable celebration with its New Year’s Eve Street Party. Organised by Kerry County Council in partnership with Tralee Chamber and sponsored by Cara Credit Union, this vibrant, family-friendly event on Denny Street promises a night of fun, fantastic entertainment, and a dazzling fireworks display to ring in 2025 in style!
The festivities kick off at 6:00 PM, with the charismatic Brian Hurley hosting the evening’s events. Get ready to dance the night away with friends, neighbours, and visitors as music fills the streets and the celebrations unfold. At 7:00 PM, look to the skies for a breathtaking fireworks display that will light up the night, creating a magical moment as we bid farewell to 2024.
Mayor of Tralee, Mikey Sheehy, said, “Celebrating the New Year in the heart of Tralee, surrounded by the excitement of our incredible community, is truly special. This year’s New Year’s Eve Street Party offers a wonderful opportunity for families, friends, and visitors to come together and celebrate what makes Tralee so unique. It’s a fantastic way to ring in the new year and embrace the spirit of our town.”
Colette O’Connor, CEO of Tralee Chamber, added, “New Year’s Eve is a time to reflect on the past year and celebrate what makes Tralee so special. This street party is a great way for all of us to come together and welcome in 2025.”
The excitement continues into the evening with the live draw for the €1,000 Corcoran’s Furniture & Carpet Gift Voucher. Throughout December, Seamus the Elf led families and visitors on a magical journey through Tralee, with stops at local businesses, eateries, hotels, and attractions. Those who collected stamps from five participating locations will be entered into the draw, and one lucky winner will be announced live at the New Year’s Eve Street Party.
The New Year’s Eve Street Party is a Free Event open to all, making it the perfect way to close out 2024 and welcome 2025. Mark your calendars for December 31st and join us on Denny Street for a celebration of music, fun, and fireworks that promises to be a night to remember!
