Statement from Stephen Stack, President Tralee Chamber Alliance on Féile Thrá Lí
On behalf of the Board, members, and all in Tralee Chamber Alliance, I would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Mark Sullivan, Aidan Turner, and Johnny McElligott on delivering what was without doubt the most successful Féile Thrá Lí to date.
The feedback from businesses, visitors, and the wider community over the past few days has been overwhelmingly positive — from the fantastic line-up of musical acts catering for all ages, to the vibrant street stalls, entertainment, and the atmosphere that filled our town.
When the call came to take the streets festival forward, they, through the Kerry Vintners Association, stepped up with vision and commitment. As the representative body for businesses in Tralee and its surrounding areas, it is only fitting that we acknowledge the significant contribution of our Chamber Committee Members who put themselves forward when leadership was needed most.
The success of Féile Thrá Lí would not have been possible without the ongoing support of Kerry County Council and the Rose of Tralee International Festival, whose collaboration and partnership have been central to the continued growth of Féile Thrá Lí. Their support has ensured the festival remains a flagship event, bringing significant social and economic benefit to businesses across Tralee and the wider region.
To the Féile Thrá Lí team — keep up the incredible work.
Thank you for delivering an outstanding programme that brought unprecedented numbers of people into our town. We are already looking forward with excitement to next year’s festival.
