There was a real buzz of excitement at the Meadowlands Hotel, Tralee, on Tuesday evening, as the Kingdom County Show officially launched what promises to be its biggest and brightest event yet — a spectacular celebration marking 75 years of the show at the heart of Kerry life.
The launch night was a joyful gathering of community spirit, local pride and anticipation, with supporters and friends of the show coming together to reflect on the past and look ahead to a landmark event. Memories were shared, this year’s plans unveiled, and community spirit shone bright. Making the evening even more special, the stunning Kerry Roses joined the festivities, lending their grace and glamour to the occasion as they mingled with guests and added sparkle to the celebrations.
This year’s Kingdom County Show takes place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May 2025 in the beautiful surroundings of Ballymacthomas, Tralee, and promises an unforgettable weekend packed with fun for all ages.
From the thrill of livestock competitions, top-tier equestrian events, and a dog show to the colour and charm of vintage tractors, food and craft stalls, and the ever-popular petting farm and kids’ zone, there’s truly something for everyone. Families can enjoy live music, interactive displays, and local food trucks, while farming enthusiasts can look forward to the very best in agriculture, machinery, and rural innovation.
As part of this year’s celebrations, the Kingdom County Show is proud to announce its chosen charity — the incredible Little Blue Heroes Foundation, which supports families of children with serious illnesses, many of whom dream of becoming little Gardaí. A charity which holds a special place in the hearts of many, The show will be helping raise vital funds and awareness throughout the weekend in support of this inspiring cause.
