Experience Tralee’s Festive Magic at the Island of Geese, Dec 6th–8th!
Get ready to experience the magic of Christmas at the Island of Geese Festive Evening Market, brought to you by Tralee Chamber and Kerry County Council in partnership with Garvey’s SuperValu. From Friday, December 6th, to Sunday, December 8th, the heart of Tralee will transform into a festive wonderland packed with festive cheer.
Running across three enchanting evenings, the market promises a vibrant celebration of the season with Christmas-themed stalls, delicious food and drink, live performances, and festive fun for all ages. A covered seating area will offer visitors the perfect spot to indulge in seasonal treats while soaking up the warm and cosy atmosphere.
“This year’s Festive Evening Market is all about community and celebration,” said Colette O’Connor, CEO of Tralee Chamber. “The Island of Geese will come alive with the sights, sounds, and tastes of Christmas. From live music to unique crafts and gifts, we’re delighted to bring this magical event to the people of Tralee.”
The market will feature a wide array of local vendors, offering everything from handcrafted gifts to delicious seasonal foods. Stallholders include Granit Island, Tralee Chocolate Heaven, Bad Boys Barbecue Ltd, Íon Organics, and Blasta Delights, among many others. For those looking to warm up, the Up-Cycle Mobile Café and Blend & Brew will be on hand with hot beverages, while whiskey lovers can enjoy tastings by Kingdom Whiskey Tasting Events Kerry.

Live Performances and Festive Cheer: The market will host an incredible lineup of live performances featuring choirs, carollers, and musicians from across Kerry. Highlights include:
- Friday, Dec. 6th: CBS School Choir, Kerry Choral Union, and the Presentation School Choir.
- Saturday, Dec. 7th: Opus’96 Chamber Choir, Ardfert Singers Ladies Choir, and the Oliver Hurley School of Musical Theatre.
- Sunday, Dec. 8th: Cor Siamsa Tire, Blennerville National School Choir, and many more.
In addition to live music, visitors can meet delightful Christmas characters, enjoy performances by buskers, and experience the joy of the season with festive entertainment for all ages.
