Discover The Magic: Tralee Chamber & Kerry County Council Launch A Spectacular ‘Christmas In Tralee 2025’ Programme

Tralee Chamber, in partnership with Kerry County Council, is delighted to launch Christmas in Tralee 2025, presenting the town’s most vibrant and wide-ranging festive programme to date. From much-loved traditions to exciting new additions, the season offers something for everyone. The ever-popular Christmas Parades, delivered by Féile Thrá Lí and Sean Murphy Electrical will once again bring the streets of Tralee to life as part of the wider Christmas in Tralee celebrations.

Colette O’Connor, CEO, Tralee Chamber, expressed her excitement for the 2025 programme: “Christmas in Tralee has grown into one of the county’s most anticipated celebrations, and this year we’re raising the bar once again. From expanded festive markets at the Island of Geese to movie nights, music events, a weekend of parades and family experiences, we want every resident and visitor to feel the magic of the season. This programme reflects the creativity, dedication, and community spirit that make Tralee such a special town at Christmas.”

The Christmas spirit kicks off on Saturday, November 29th with Kerry County Council’s Festive Flair in The Square, an exciting event to officially launch Christmas in Tralee 2025. The evening will be filled with live music, family-friendly entertainment, and a special appearance from Santa Claus himself, who will join the Mayor of Tralee, Cllr Terry O’Brien and special guests, to switch on the town’s sparkling Christmas lights.

Mayor of Tralee, Cllr. Terry O’Brien expressed his excitement: “Christmas is a time to come together as a community, and we have a fantastic lineup of festive events for everyone to enjoy. I am thrilled to join Santa Claus and guests on November 29th to light up the town and officially kick off Christmas in Tralee 2025. The Christmas lights bring such warmth and magic to Tralee, and I encourage everyone to come along, enjoy the festivities, and support our local businesses throughout the season.
