Tralee, Co. Kerry – The Rose Hotel proudly marks its 10th anniversary today, celebrating a decade of delivering exceptional four-star hospitality in the heart of Kerry. Since its launch in 2016, following a major refurbishment programme, the hotel has become a cornerstone of the local tourism and business community, renowned for its warm welcome, contemporary comfort and outstanding guest experiences.
This milestone year also coincides with a significant investment in the property, including the upgrade of 70 Classic Bedrooms completed in March 2026, further enhancing guest comfort and the overall four-star experience.
To commemorate the anniversary, The Henggeler Family, owners of The Rose Hotel, are hosting a series of celebratory events. Highlights include a special Radio Kerry outside broadcast, featuring interviews with the Henggeler family, hotel management and long-serving team members, reflecting on the hotel’s journey and success over the past decade.
A key moment of the celebrations is the announcement of the winners of The Rose Hotel €10,000 National Schools Competition across Kerry. Ten schools have each been awarded €1,000 technology vouchers, supporting digital learning and innovation in classrooms throughout the county.
The anniversary also provides an opportunity to recognise the dedication of the hotel’s team. Ten staff members are being honoured for over 10 years of service, acknowledging their loyalty, professionalism and contribution to the hotel’s continued success.
Adding to the excitement, The Rose Hotel is celebrating international recognition through partnerships with two major US television programmes, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right. As an official accommodation partner, the hotel will welcome prize winners for luxurious seven-night stays, including breakfast. Selected winners will enjoy exclusive upgrades to Deluxe rooms, complete with spa treatments, dinner and wine—offering a true taste of Kerry hospitality on a global stage.
