To celebrate the re-opening of The Mall and the completion of significance enhancement works in Tralee Town Centre over the past year, Kerry County Council, Tralee Chamber Alliance and Tralee town centre traders have organised a street party and family fun day which will take place on Saturday, 20 January from 2pm-5pm. The ‘Mingle on the Mall’ is aimed at showcasing the brand new Tralee town centre and will include a comprehensive and exciting programme of free family-oriented events and entertainment.

From 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, there will be a party atmosphere on the new look Mall and local businesses will be providing special offers to shoppers during the afternoon. There will be performances by St John’s Pipe Band, the Kerry Choral Union, a Drum Dance Ireland drumming circle, Zumba dancing, and entertainment from Kingdom Party Pals.

Business owners and their teams will be taking part in a fun ‘Street Triathlon’ with Lip Syncing, Cappuccino Races and Chip ‘N’ Dip fun races. Teams of families or friends can register with the #LoveTralee volunteers for a Scavenger Hunt with lots of amazing prizes to be won for the fastest, funniest, friendliest, and fanciest dressed groups with the support of town centre businesses.

Kerry County Council, Tralee Chamber Alliance and Tralee town centre traders are encouraging members of the public to visit the town centre on Saturday and enjoy a celebration of the new look town centre.
